Be yourself
Don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are. Use current, authentic profile photos, and never try to manipulate verification.

Be clear about your intentions
Different members are looking for different things — that's part of Unbound. Be honest about what you want, and respect it when someone else's intentions differ from yours.

Consent is continuous
- A connection request is not consent to anything beyond receiving that request.
- Accepting a connection is not consent to sexual activity.
- Sharing a private photo does not grant permission to redistribute it.
- Past consent does not imply future consent.
- Anyone can change their mind. Boundaries are respected immediately.

Respect relationships without policing them
Unbound supports adults across different relationship structures. Don't shame anyone for being single, married, partnered, separated, open, ENM, exploring, dating independently, or dating together.
Unbound can't independently guarantee another person's relationship agreements or claims. Every member is responsible for communicating honestly.

Protect privacy
Never publish another member's private information, share private photos without permission, maliciously distribute private conversations, dox anyone, or threaten exposure or blackmail.
Privacy is part of consent.

Appropriate content
Don't share illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitative content, anything involving minors, threatening content, or content meant mainly to harass or intimidate.

- Hide
- Quietly removes someone from your discovery.
- End connection
- Ends an existing connection.
- Block
- Restricts interaction between you and another member.
- Report
- Alerts Unbound to potential guideline violations.

Enforcement
Depending on the situation, violations may result in a warning or intervention, action on content or a profile, re-verification, temporary suspension, or permanent removal. Severe safety violations may lead directly to stronger action. We can't promise a specific outcome for every report.
